Featured photo: B. Vanderwiel, Majors Titans, pitched a no hitter on March 27th against the Ducks. "14 strikeouts, complete game. He was 2 walks away from a perfect game!!! Unreal!" says manager, T. Barro.  14 strikeouts in a single game is a record for any division this season so far.

On March 30th, R. Capistron of the AAA Sun Devils also pitched 11 strikeouts in 5 innings, only allowing 2 hits and 2 walks by the UCLA Bruins. Teammate K. Oftebro hit a 3-run inside-the-park home run in the same game.

Intermediate Silver Bullets were on fire this week.  P. Wight first set the season record with 2 home runs in a single game on March 28th against the LNLL Ole Miss Rebels - his first was a 2-run shot in the bottom of the 2nd inning, and his second was a solo shot in the bottom of the 5th. Then, on March 30th, J. Naber also hit 2 home runs against the Blue Knights (solo shot followed by a 2-run HR) AND P. Wight hit yet another 2-run shot in the same game.
